Golf at Myrtle Beach

The fresh seafood restaurants of Myrtle Beach are famous and you won’t want to miss an authentic dining experience at one of its many establishments. The Carolina Roadhouse is one place where you can scarf down a Kosher hot dog topped with chili-cheese covered french fries. Or treat the kids to a cheeseburger in paradise at Margaritaville, located at Broadway on the Beach, and a classic spot for tropical drinks and free entertainment. For your breakfast dreams, wake up and scoot out of your hotel to Croissants Bistro & Bakery. They’ve got your fresh morning cuppa joe, your southern grits, and if you’d like to celebrate a special occasion with your loved ones, their cakes to order are decorated to uniquely suit any event - weddings, holidays, your kid’s birthday, etc. They also serve breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.

Family Activities

When the kids get roasted by the sun and hyper active from too much sugar and amusement parks, give them a sense of culture at the Children’s Museum of South Carolina. This place was made for children from ages 1-11 and gives your tiny tots loads of educational activities to immerse their little minds in - interactive displays, including a science lab and a make-believe ATM.

Another place for your children to let off some steam without risk of being nibbled by jellyfish is at Wonderworks, a museum and amusement park rolled into one. Kids get to scale rope courses, explore an ‘anti-gravity chamber,’ play laser tag, and accelerate their little left brains at science exhibits. It’s a wacky place housed in an upside-down building so leave all judgement at the door and immerse yourself in good ‘ol child-like fun.

If you’re stumped by the myriad of accommodation choices, a tried-and-true favorite is the Sandy Beach Resort. It lies in the heart of the Grand Strand and has classic ocean- front views without a gigantic price tag. There’s an indoor and outdoor pool, and a lazy river the kids will love.
